Every day has its line: a scale from 0 to 4, the medication with its dose, the temperature, the meals to tick off and lines for everything else. Top left there is room for the whole week.
- You name the scale, the boxes and the meals yourself.
- Leave out what you don’t need.
- At the back, tables for the vet, the farrier, worming and vaccination, and weight.

Horse, pony, donkey, mule
The logbook doesn’t ask about breed. The name is on the cover, with a photo if you like, and again at the top of every page – so even loose sheets in the binder belong to the right animal.
The scale is called whatever you like: coughing, lameness, appetite, or whatever the vet wants you to watch. The book runs from the month you choose, for three, six or twelve months.

Logbook, diary or another template; leave out what you don’t need. It prints as A4 for a ring binder or as A5 booklets.

You get a PDF and print it yourself or at a copy shop.
Putting it together and flipping through the preview is free and needs no account. For the PDF you sign in with your email address – there is no password.
What it costs
A year of logbook costs €2.65, in the largest pack €1.48. The first three years are on us.

Three things that matter when printing
Actual size
‘Actual size’ or 100 %, not ‘Fit to page’. Otherwise the punch holes hit the text.
Both sides, the right edge
A4 for a binder flips on the long edge, A5 booklets on the short one. Otherwise every back page is upside down.
One test sheet first
Print one sheet and have a look. Only when it’s right, print the rest.
Start with one animal
Type the name, pick the period, flip through the preview. Only the PDF costs anything – and the first three years are free.
